So another successful Preview/Fashion Exposed at The Melbourne Exhibition Centre has been and gone. This time I was assisted by my new sales agent Nico from Passionvine Agencies which made the whole show easier to manage having done all the previous ones on my own.

As usual the Pleated styles starred in sales but we got consistent orders for our foray into linen and cotton as well as some forward order for our Wool Jersey styles.

The highlight was the visit by Sally and her husband Roger all the way from The Linen Chest in Toowoomba.  Sally as usual made doing business fun.

We ended up with several new accounts and even though the overall sales were lower than average for our previous shows it was expected considering the economic climate.

We also have an attitude of encouraging new stockists to buy less initially and try out the product to ensure that it is the right fit for their store.  Buyers are often quite excited to come upon the ARGYRO GAVALAS brand but we prefer to nevertheless grow the relationship slowly over time.

To conclude, the show as always was worth doing and with Nico’s assistance was also more relaxed and enjoyable for me.
